EYFS Teaching Assistant Level 3 Apprentice
Attend to the personal, social and physical needs of pupils including washing, toileting, assisting with feeding, dressing and undressing pupils, supporting pupil’s development by instigating opportunities to further develop life skills, numeracy and literacy
Under the direct supervision of the Preschool Supervisor and other staff, assist individual or groups of pupils in the provision and ensure their safety and well being
Day to day communication with parents concerning pupils well being. Directing parents to the Preschool Supervisor in the event of specific concerns or issues arising
Update pupil care information on schools systems or records as required
Prepare and maintain learning equipment and ensure that the classroom is kept clean and tidy
Display and present the pupils' work, under the direction of
Preschool Supervisor, so that it enhances the classroom environment and celebrates achievement
Attend staff meetings and undertakes personal staff development training as required
Maintain a safe and clean environment for the pupils at all times
Supervise ‘lunch club'. Ensuring the children are safe and eat well. Leave the lunch area ready for its next use by others
Be prepared to work in other areas of school at the request of the senior leadership team
Maintain the school ethos and values at all times
Training:
Training will be completed through BeReady's programme. Learners will have dedicated 'off the job' time to complete tasks and studies.

Learn about and adhere to the EYFS Statutory Framework requirements and Ofsted regulations Learn how to ensure a safe, clean, tidy and welcoming room by completing appropriate daily duties Learn about strategies to promote positive behaviour and assist in supporting children’s emotional wellbeing Gain knowledge of the curriculum, supporting the team in its implementation, indoors and outdoors Learn about activities that are holistic and support the curriculum and cover the EYFS Education Programmes Learn about activities that are holistic and support the curriculum and cover the EYFS Education Programmes Learn how to teach, support and extend children’s knowledge and skills, particularly their language skills Learn how to set up the learning environment to meet the children’s individual interests, needs and learning Learn about formative and summative assessments, using observations and data to inform the assessment cycle Learn about the appropriate support needed when children need extra help in their learning and development Support the qualified team in carrying out their daya to day roles including health and safety Attend ‘in house’ training and other mandatory training necessary as part of apprenticeship Be reliable with excellent attendance and keep up to date with work and targets set by training providerTraining Outcome:
Learners will be able to work within nursery and school settings They may also wish to pursue a teaching qualification

Working Hours :
Monday-Friday 7.30am- 3.30pm Term time only
