UK Transport (Container Curtainside) Apprentice

Process customer job requests accurately and efficiently Add and manage transport jobs within the company’s Transport Management System (TMS) Use port and customer systems to make vehicle bookings Monitor deliveries using vehicle tracking systems and provide updates where required Contact shipping lines to obtain empty container return details Send job information and instructions to drivers and assist with any queries Communicate effectively with customers regarding booking issues, delivery updates, and delays Support senior transport planners with day-to-day operational duties Maintain accurate records and ensure all transport information is updated correctly Work closely with drivers, customers and internal departments to ensure smooth operations

Training:

Supply Chain Practitioner (fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG)) - Level 3.

Training will take place online via Teams on a monthly basis.

This apprenticeship is designed to provide a strong foundation for long-term career growth within the industry, with clear opportunities to develop, progress, and potentially move into senior or management roles over time.
