Pre-School Practitioner Apprentice
Deliver the EYFS ensuring that the individual needs and interests of children in the provision are met (in conjunction with other team members)
Keeping records of key children's developments and learning journeys and share with parents, carers, and other key adults in the child's life
Developing and maintaining strong partnerships and communication with parents/carers to facilitate day to day caring and early learning needs
Ensuring the provision of a high-quality environment to meet the needs of individual children having an awareness of any disabilities, family cultures and medical histories
Advising manager/deputy of any concerns, e.g., regarding children, parents, the safety of the environment, preserving confidentiality as necessary
Being involved in out-of-working hours activities, e.g., training, staff meetings, summer fayres etc.
Being flexible within working practices of the provision, undertaking other responsible duties where needed, such as domestic tasks, preparation of snacks/meals, cleansing of equipment etc.
Developing your role within the team, especially with regard to being a key person
Being aware of the high profile of the provision and to uphold its standards at all times, both in work hours and outside
Undertaking and leading on additional responsibilities such as SENCO, training coordinator, safeguarding officer etc.
Minimum of 6 hours per week spent on apprenticeship work and training
Training:
You'll attend monthly 1-2-1 meetings (online via teams every month - No classroom Or college!) with your tutor and learn about modules including child development from birth to 7 years, safeguarding, promoting wellbeing, supporting activities, purposeful play & educational programmes, and more!
You will be given a minimum of 3 hours per week to complete any apprenticeship work (assignments, research, and projects) and will receive at least another 3 hours of training from your employer
Training Outcome:
As with any apprenticeship opportunity - if you prove yourself to be a valuable member of the team there is a strong chance of a permanent post within the business

Working Hours :
Monday - Friday, 8.00am - 4.00pm.
