Horticulture Operative Apprentice

The successful applicant will assist the Head Gardener to maintain the gardens and grounds of Wardington House Nursing Home and, on occasion, the Trust Properties adjoining the home. The grounds are to be maintained so as to provide an aesthetically pleasing, stimulating and safe space for our residents and visitors to enjoy.

Training:

Upon completion of all elements of your Apprenticeship you will be awarded a Level 2 Intermediate Apprenticeship in Horticulture (Horticulture/Landscape operative). In addition, you will achieve: Level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work and The Safe Use of Pesticides (PA1).

Training Outcome:

Potential full-Time or part-Time employment.

Employer Description:

A private care home providing residential care to people living with dementia.

Working Hours :
Monday - Friday: 8:30am-4:30pm.
