Construction PDI Engineer - Bibury

Role: PDI Engineer  Salary: £30,000 -£39,000  Location: Swadlincote Contract: Monday – Friday - DAYS The PDI Engineer Key Responsibilities: - Carry out Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) on new and used plant equipment - Diagnose and rectify mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults - Ensure all equipment is prepared to a high standard before handover - Complete job cards, inspection reports, and documentation accurately - Maintain a clean and safe working environment - Work closely with the service and operations teams to meet deadlines PDI Engineer Requirements: - Ideally experience working with plant equipment excavators, dumpers, loaders, telehandlers, Platforms or forklifts) - Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills - Basic electrical and hydraulic knowledge - Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively - Full UK driving licence (preferred) - Relevant qualifications (NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent) desirable What We Offer - Competitive salary and overtime opportunities - Ongoing training and development - Supportive team environment - Company pension and holiday entitlement Next Steps  If you are interested in this PDI Engineer role, please call Matt on 07739 277676 or upload your updated CV to this advert.  matt@holtautomotive.co.uk
