The Role

Database Administrator / DBA to join a leading global technology group.

As the Database Administrator / DBA, you will spend most of your time working interfacing with internal business customers designing, deploying and supporting both new and existing products.

This is a full-time permanent role, with flexible hours around core office availability Monday to Friday.

The role can be performed remotely, with occasional travel required for meetings, events and workshops.

What You Will Be Doing



Understanding business needs and designing/building solutions that meet those needs.


Establishing the purpose of our database systems and access rights.


Identifying ways our databases interact and link with other systems.


Planning ways to organize, find and display data.


Providing new information to our database systems and transferring existing data into it where required.


Planning how we update information, creating backups and reporting errors.


Staying ahead of issues with proactive monitoring and alerting.


Building test versions and checking results for bugs.


Implementing best practices in database administration.


Creating and maintaining reports and subscriptions within SSRS, SSIS and PowerBI.



What You Will Need to Succeed In This Role



Must be eligible for Security clearance


Strong experience in SQL database administration including installation, configuration, security, maintenance, and monitoring.


Understanding of relational database design.


Experience with the use of SSIS, SSRS, ETL/ELT.


Strong analytical capabilities to assist in troubleshooting production application issues.


Comfortable working with staff at all levels.


Ability to self-organize, prioritize and track tasks.


Can work independently or in a team.


May be required to pass a U.S.

Government Public Trust Security Clearance background investigation.
