Maintenance Technician/ Fitter Apprentice

More about the role and responsibilities:

You will learn how to manufacture, repair and service products, carry out safety and compliance checks before and after installation of products, carry our electrical and mechanical checks and repairs ensuring the system remains in good working order You will learn both the electrical and mechanical elements of machinery and site based equipment and identify potential improvements to equipment You will also read engineering drawings. All this whilst working safely under the company's Health & Safety guidance This opportunity to earn whilst you learn will gain you a Level 3 qualification in Mechatronics Maintenance Technician which is a four year course (day release) at Bedford College

Training:
Level 3 Engineering Technician - Mechatronics Pathway Level 2 Functional Skills English and maths if required

Opportunities to become a Field Service/ Maintenance Technician/Electrical Fitter

Employer Description:
Designing, manufacturing, installing and servicing refuse and recycling waste as well as linen laundry chutes.

Working Hours :
Monday to Thursday, 08:00 - 17:00 and Thursday, 08:00 - 16:00 with 1 hour for lunch.
