PIC Temporary Role- Wicklow

AA Euro Healthcare is currently recruiting a Person in Charge (PIC) on behalf of a leading disability service provider based in Bray, Co. Wicklow.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced social care professional to lead a residential service supporting adults with intellectual disabilities and high support needs. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management, governance, and development of the service while ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care in line with HIQA standards and organisational policies.

This position is offered on a 12-month fixed-term contract

Key Responsibilities

Fulfil the role of Person in Charge in line with HIQA regulationsLead the day-to-day management of the residential serviceEnsure high-quality, person-centred care and supportManage staffing, supervision, performance, and developmentPromote safeguarding, health and safety, and risk management practicesEnsure compliance with HIQA standards and organisational policiesWork collaboratively with families, multidisciplinary teams, and external stakeholdersOversee audits, service reviews, and quality improvement initiativesManage resources and service budgets effectively

Requirements

Relevant Level 7 or Level 8 qualification in Social Care, Applied Social Studies, Social Work, Nursing, or a related disciplineCORU registration or eligibility for registrationMinimum 3 years' management experience within disability or social care servicesStrong knowledge of HIQA regulations and residential service managementExcellent leadership, communication, and organisational skillsFull clean driving licence and access to own transport
