Apprentice Civil Engineering Technician
Duties will include, but will not be limited to:
Assist with the design and development of civil engineering projects, including infrastructure, drainage, highways and structures Produce and amend technical drawings, plans and specifications using CAD software Support site surveys, inspections and data collection activities Assist in interpreting engineering drawings, data and technical documentation Contribute to project planning, reporting and progress tracking Support compliance with health, safety and environmental standards Work collaboratively with internal teams, contractors and external stakeholders Maintain accurate project records and documentation Provide general technical and administrative support to the engineering teamTraining:
The Apprentice will work towards their Apprenticeship Standard in Civil Engineering Senior Technician L4 The successful candidate will be assigned a dedicated assessor who will provide support and guidance throughout the course This is a Day Release programme, which means you will attend Lincoln College, 1 day per week, term time only. This will fall within your contracted working hours
Training Outcome:
After completing the apprenticeship, you can progress to a Junior Civil Engineering Technician role, gain professional recognition (EngTech), and in time move into more senior positions such as Design Engineer, project roles, or further study towards chartered status.

Working Hours :
Monday – Friday, 08:00am – 17:00pm with a 1 hour unpaid lunch break.
