Front of House Team Member Apprentice

Deliver friendly, professional customer service to all visitors Take orders accurately using the till and handle payments Prepare and serve food and beverages in line with standards Support basic food preparation, including sandwiches, snacks and hot drinks Maintain high standards of cleanliness across the café, kitchen and customer areas Follow food safety, hygiene and allergen procedures at all times Restock supplies and assist with stock rotation and deliveries Work as part of a team to ensure smooth daily operations Handle customer queries and resolve minor issues politely and efficiently Support opening and closing procedures of the café Complete all apprenticeship learning, training and assessments on time Follow health and safety procedures and report any issues promptly

Training:
Level 2 Food and Beverage Team Member A bespoke programme of technical and vocational training Functional skills in maths and English *if applicable

 

The successful candidate will be assigned a dedicated work based trainer who will provide support and guidance throughout the course. This apprenticeship is delivered wholly in the workplace, the successful candidate will not need to attend any weekly sessions at the Grimsby Institute unless maths or English is required as part of the apprenticeship



Training Outcome:
Possible permanent contract upon successful completion of the Apprenticeship and further enhanced industry-based training An apprenticeship allows you to earn a wage, gain valuable work experience and industry specific competence Transferable skills that are invaluable in the wider world of work
