Warehousing Apprentice
Receiving and checking incoming deliveries against delivery documentation
Accurately picking customer orders ready for dispatch
Packing orders safely and securely to meet company standards
Preparing parcels and shipments for collection by courier services
Assisting with stock control, stock checks and inventory management
Maintaining accurate warehouse records and updating systems as required
Loading, unloading and moving stock safely within the warehouse
Ensuring products are stored correctly and warehouse locations are maintained
Supporting the efficient day-to-day running of warehouse operations
Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment at all times
Following company procedures and health and safety regulations
Working closely with colleagues to ensure customer orders are processed accurately and on time
Supporting the wider team with general warehouse duties as required
Completing all aspects of the Warehousing Apprenticeship including off-the-job training and coursework
Working towards developing the knowledge, skills and behaviours required within the apprenticeship standard
Attending training sessions, reviews and meetings with your apprenticeship trainer and employer as required
Training:
Supply Chain Warehouse Operative Standard Level 2
A bespoke programme of technical and vocational training
Functional skills in maths and English *if applicable
The successful candidate will be assigned a dedicated work-based trainer who will provide support and guidance throughout the course. This apprenticeship is delivered wholly in the workplace; the successful candidate will not need to attend any weekly sessions at the Grimsby Institute unless maths or English is required as part of the apprenticeship
Training Outcome:

Working Hours :
Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm (30-mins unpaid lunch) Possibility of 1 in 4 rota for Saturdays 9am - 3pm TBC
