Laboratory Technician Apprenticeship

Carry out routine laboratory testing on raw materials, intermediates, and finished products  Accurately record, analyse, and report test results in line with procedures  Follow all laboratory methods, SOPs, and quality standards  Ensure all work is conducted safely and in compliance with COSHH, REACH, and internal QMS requirements  Prepare samples, reagents, and materials required for testing and analysis  Maintain clean, organised, and safe laboratory working environments (5S principles)  Support calibration, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting of laboratory equipment  Assist with product validation, trials, and development activities as required  Identify and escalate any non-conformances, anomalies, or safety concerns  Ensure accurate and compliant documentation and data entry  Support continuous improvement initiatives within the laboratory  Work collaboratively with colleagues across Technical, Quality, and Production 

Training:

Laboratory Technician Level 3.

An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.



Training Outcome:

TBC upon successful completion of the apprenticeship.

The company formulates, blends, bottles, labels, packs, and distributes products globally to brake parts manufacturers, oil and lubricant brands, and major petroleum companies.
