Adult Care Worker Apprentice

Develop communication skills by engaging with clients, learning about their backgrounds, interests and individual care needs Learn to support personal care, including washing, dressing and promoting dignity and independence Build practical skills in preparing meals, assisting with eating and supporting safe medication routines under supervision Support clients to participate in physical, social and wellbeing activities as part of their care plan Be trained to carry out routine health checks such as weight, temperature and blood pressure monitoring Learn how to recognise and report any concerns about a client’s health or wellbeing to senior staff Develop confidence in maintaining accurate care records and updating individual care plans in line with guidance

Training:
1:1 support in the workplace with a dedicated apprenticeship tutor Workshops planned to suit the diary of all parties Monthly reviews Workplace mentor provided Quarterly reviews

Working Hours :
