Senior Mechanical Engineer

With plans for investment and a state of the art manufacturing facility, we are seeking an experienced Head of Mechanical Engineering or Senior Mechanical Engineer to drive the business forward, taking manufacturing operations to the next level for the Mechanical Engineering facility, H&S and overall efficiency.

Key Responsibilities of Head of Mechanical Engineering or Senior Mechanical Engineer

People Management, including the motivation and mentoring of your team to effectively problem solve and develop their careers, aligning the right level of leadership to drive the site and manufacturing lines forward Implementation and management of HSEQ standard and policy To support with the move to a new state of the art manufacturing environment in the local vicinity To identify opportunities to further automate manufacturing processes To monitor and execute Mechanical tasks through spot checks and relay relevant feedback


Essential qualifications for Head of Mechanical Engineering or Senior Mechanical Engineer

Leadership and people management skills and the ability to build, motivate, develop and improve teams. Working knowledge of Heavy Industrial Mechanical system The position reports to the Site Operations Manager and provides a high level of influence and autonomy within the business, along with opportunities for both personal and career development. Mechanical Maintenance including heavy Industry Plant Knowledge
