Operations Apprentice

As an Apprentice Freight Forwarder, you will play an important role within the European Traffic Department. Your training will include:

Planning and coordinating time-critical transport movements across road, air, and sea Learning customs procedures to support the smooth movement of goods Developing an understanding of sales pricing, cost management, and profitability Communicating with clients, suppliers, and transport contractors Delivering outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment

Most of your apprenticeship will be spent working alongside experienced colleagues, gaining hands-on industry experience while studying towards your qualification.

Entry Requirements :

GCSE in maths and English at Grade 4/C or above A-Level or BTEC qualification (any subject)

Other requirements :

Must live within a commutable distance of the workplace A full driving licence and access to a motor vehicle are essential due to the location of the site Ideal for someone who has recently finished college and is seeking a long-term career opportunity instead of university

We are looking for someone who is:

Confident and professional in communication Organised and able to manage tasks effectively Comfortable using IT systems, including Microsoft Word and Excel Able to work well in a team environment Positive, enthusiastic and willing to learn

Training:

Most of your apprenticeship will be spent working alongside experienced colleagues, gaining hands-on industry experience while studying towards your qualification.

Training Outcome:

Full-time role in operations.
