Business Administrator Apprenticeship

This role offers involvement across all areas of the business, providing a varied and hands-on experience. The successful candidate must demonstrate a willingness to learn and a commitment to developing their knowledge and skills within the industry.

Duties:

Provide administrative support across all areas of the business, including answering calls, responding to emails, processing orders, and maintaining accurate records Assist customers with enquiries, quotations, artwork submissions, and order updates in a professional and friendly manner Create and prepare artwork for print using graphic design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign Edit, proof, and resize customer artwork to ensure files meet print specifications and quality standards Operate computer systems and maintain organised digital filing for customer jobs, designs, and production schedules Support the production team by preparing print-ready files and liaising with colleagues to meet deadlines Manage and update company social media platforms and contribute to marketing activities where required Assist with stock control, ordering supplies, and general office organisation Maintain a high level of attention to detail when checking designs, spelling, layouts, and print finishes Work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a busy, fast-paced environment Demonstrate a willingness to learn new skills, processes, and equipment within the print and design industry Build positive relationships with customers and colleagues while delivering excellent customer service Support day-to-day business operations and take on additional responsibilities as the role develops Maintain a professional attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to producing high-quality work at all times

Training:

Business Administrator Level 3.

An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.
