CNC Engineering Machining Apprentice
Day to day tasks include:
Ensure all products are handled, machined and clearly identified in accordance with company working practices and procedures Carry out accurate machining of materials, maximising stock utilisation while minimising waste, damage, or scrap Maintain high standards of accuracy and quality to meet customer specifications Accurately record and update information using the computer-based stock control system and all relevant documentation Support the maintenance of organised and efficient stock control processes Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity and reduce waste across operations Follow and promote safe working practices at all times, ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors Demonstrate a willingness to learn and develop machining skills and knowledge Maintain a proactive and positive approach to training and workplace responsibilitiesTraining:
This is a Level 3 Machining apprenticeship, delivered over a 36-month period. The apprentice will attend the training centre In-Comm Training Aldridge WS9 8UG, 2 and a half days per week for the first 14-months.
Training Outcome:
Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, there will be a full-time position available. There may be opportunity to progress onto a Level 4 HNC.

Working Hours :
Monday - Thursday 8:00am - 5:00pm, Friday 8:00am - 1:00pm
