Early Years Practitioner Apprenticeship

Welcoming parents, children and visitors Caring for all children in the nursery Setting up activities and supporting children’s involvement in activities Assisting children at meal and snack times Supporting children at nap times Following all nursery policies and procedures, including safeguarding of the setting and health & safety of the children’s environment Some cleaning duties of the nursery and equipment will also be involved

Training:

Apprentices will be allocated a Trainer Assessor, and training will
be planned and delivered in conjunction with the employer to meet
the individual needs of the apprentice.
The apprentice will spend 20% of their working hours off-the-job
activities and training.
On-the-job and off-the-job training will be delivered in the
workplace.

Training Outcome:

Permanent role for the right applicant upon completion of the
apprenticeship. Progression onto the Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification.

Wollaton House Day Nursery are committed to maintaining the
highest standards of childcare and nursery education. Full time or
part-time childcare is offered for children between birth and 5
years, Monday to Friday, in a safe, secure and stimulating
environment. The nursery recognizes what an important role they
play in a child’s development, so most of all they want children to
be happy, confident and to feel secure

Working Hours :
Flexible between the hours of 7.30am – 6pm Monday - Friday.
