Mechanical HGV Engineer Apprentice - Letchworth

Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on HGVs and trailers

Diagnose mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults Use diagnostic equipment and workshop tools safely Complete inspections and MOT preparation

Training:

2-week block release to Stephenson College, Coalville.

Functional skills if necessary. On-the-job training. Off-the-job training.

Training Outcome:

Career progression would be to Become full HGV Technician with possibility to work with the refrigeration engineers, do your FGAS certification and work your way into the workshop controller/regional fleet engineer roles with time.

Working Hours :
40 Hour week Monday- Friday between the hours of 8:00am and 5:00pm Monday to Friday, either 8:00am to 4:00pm or 9:00am to 5:00pm.
