Pre-School Apprentice
Support qualified staff and provide a safe, caring, stimulating educational environment, both indoors and outdoors, at all times
Support qualified staff and deliver an appropriate play-based/free-flow and child-led curriculum that enables children to make individual progress
Help to ensure the preschool always meets Ofsted requirements.
Understand and implement preschool policies and procedures.
Support qualified staff when planning activities, which ensure each child is working towards individual early learning outcomes
Undertake any other reasonable duties as directed, in accordance with the preschool aims and objectives
Training:
Level 3 Early Years Educator Apprenticeship Standard
Paediatric First Aid
Functional Skills in English and maths at level 2 if required
Work-based and tutor-supported online training
Preparation for End Point Assessment

A friendly, nurturing community pre-school providing term-time childcare for children aged 2-5 in Highcliffe, Winchester. Our pre-school is based in the All Saints Church Hall and is next to All Saints Primary School.
We have a wonderful team of dedicated pre-school educators who are passionate about early childhood education and creating a nurturing environment where young children can learn and grow. We follow the Early Years Foundation Framework.
We provide varied activities for our children both inside and out including:
- Cookery
- Themed weeks
- Walks to local interesting wildlife spots
- Reading with special guests (our caregivers!)
- Termly stay and play sessions where our caregivers and families can come and join in the fun
Working Hours :
3 days a week 8:30am-3:30pm (working days to be confirmed). Term time only.
