Business Administrator/Estimator apprentice

Liaise with the preconstruction manager, commercial and operations team to assist in taking a project from tender stage to contract Logging tenders on ensuring that specification and programme information is noted Ensure all the latest relevant documentation including drawings, specifications and scope is downloaded from client web portals, saved to the project folder electronically and printed relevant documents as required Creating drawing registers specifically to the project Produce working folders for estimators and ensure the filing sytem is up to date To develop an understanding of the different pipework systems within the process and construction industry Assist estimators with take-off and measures from drawings using  estimating software Assist with updating and maintaining companies estimating software database Assist with gaining quotes for materials from suppiers and filling accordingly Assist with preparing quotations for projects Assist with company's social media postings

Training Outcome:
Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, there will be opportunities to progress within the team as an Apprentice Estimator or within other areas of the business including Pre-Construction engineering, Operations or Commercial

Working Hours :
Monday - Friday, 8.00am - 5.00pm. One hour lunch break.
