One of our key clients has an exciting opportunity to join their mobile services team and cover a number of commercial buildings in and around London and the Southern Home Counties.
The sites cover from Brighton to London and from Guildford to Ashford.
The successful candidate will be electrically or mechanically qualified with a proven track record in building maintenance and will be splitting their time between supervising a small team of 3 and carrying out hands-on maintenance.
In return the company is offering a competitive salary of up to £45,000, overtime, further training and career progression Key Duties & ResponsibilitiesReport directly into the Contract ManagerAssist the Contract Manager in with the "day to day" running of the contractEnsure compliance with statutory regulations across all technical areas of expertise by completion of internal audits and involvement in external audits to support and develop an ethos of Continuous Improvement.
In conjunction with the Contract Administrators monitor client statutory compliance tracker to ensure continued compliance.Assist in the management of all maintenance staff on the contractsEnsure completion of PPM, reactive and quoted work within SLA through utilisation of CAFM systems.Compile and review site Asset Condition Reports, for innovation, longevity of plant and integrate with Critical Spares ListsComplete tool box talks and routine monthly meetings with all Engineers in team as prescribed by the H&S departmentProduce quotes for any small works required on site.
Deal with tender returns for small to medium sized project works escalating to the Account Manager and Project Manager as appropriateManage agreed KPI and SLA's alongside the Contract ManagerArrange specialist sub-contractorsManagement of all reports/site log booksEnsure all paperwork is up to date on each contract and ready for auditsManage a mobile team of 3 engineersHours of WorkMonday to Friday (40 hour week)08:00am to 17:00pmRequirementsElectrically or Mechanically qualifiedC&G / NVQ Level 2&3 - EssentialC&G 18th EditionYou must be able to provide copies of your trade certificatesA proven track record in commercial building maintenanceExperience of service delivery across commercial sitesSupervisory experienceAbility to communicate both verbally and in writing with all levels of staff and clients.Ability to manage and prioritise a demanding and varying workloadAttend client meetings if requiredFull UK driving license
