Apprentice Engineer – Welding & Assembly

To read mechanical engineering drawings and understand how to work from them Learn how to assemble and weld steel frames and other components Be trained to fit and assemble parts, by safely using mechanical machinery and equipment Prepare parts for final inspections  Welding and assembling parts  Fitting parts  Following the engineering drawings

Training:
Attendance to Loughborough College one day per week, term time only Diarised visits from dedicated Trainer/Assessor On-the-job training Off-the-job training

Training Outcome:

Progress onto being a welder within a secure team.
