Hairdressing Apprentice

Daily duties include but not limited to:

Assisting stylists with day-to-day tasks such as colours, foils, washing and blow-drying. Ensuring that the salon is in a good state and products and equipment are well stocked and in good order. Working as part of a friendly team. Taking responsibility for good time management. Using your own initiative under the guidance of stylists. Ensuring the needs of clients are met, and they receive the best possible care and treatment whilst visiting the salon.

Training:

You will be working towards a Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard in Hairdressing, including Functional Skills if required. 

This apprenticeship consists of a mixture of off-the-job training and on-the-job mentoring and development within the workplace.

You will be expected to attend Cornwall College Camborne or St Austell on a weekly basis, with additional attendance if functional skills are required.

Training Outcome:

Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, there may be an offer for a permanent position for the right candidate with opportunities for progression.

Working Hours :
Monday – Saturday. Shifts to be negotiated and confirmed at interview. Shifts will be between 9am and 7pm.
