Commis Chef Apprentice

Preparing and chopping vegetables, meats, and other ingredients Assisting senior chefs with basic cooking tasks Measuring and weighing ingredients accurately Preparing stocks, sauces, and simple dishes Keeping workstations clean and organised Following food safety and hygiene standards Receiving and storing deliveries correctly Learning different kitchen sections and supporting the team

Training:
Work-based training with one college day per week at City College Plymouth

Training Outcome:
Possible permanent position on successful completion of the apprenticeship

Employer Description:

We are a local family living on the Rame Peninsula passionate about both food and
happiness. Shane has worked in the catering industry for over 15 years, gaining a wide
range of food knowledge and experience, including winning awards for his culinary skills.
Natalie has been teaching locally for 7 years and is passionate about providing a service
and space that is friendly, welcoming and brings people together. That is what our
community is about.



Working Hours :
Variable shifts including some evenings and weekends.
