Early Years Lead Practitioner Apprentice
Follow the nursery safeguarding procedure to ensure all children are kept safe, well and secure
Plan and implement engaging educational activities that promote children's development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
Keep records of your key children’s development and learning journeys and share these with parents, carers and other key adults in the child’s life
Provide a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for all children
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships
Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records of their development
Manage daily routines, including meal times, playtime, and rest periods
Support children’s emotional well-being by providing comfort and encouragement as needed
Collaborate with team members to ensure the smooth running of the nursery
Respect the confidentiality of all information received
Drive initiatives that promote a positive nursery culture and enhance children's learning experiences
Training:
Training will take place at work and the delivery will be remote and recorded sessions
The duration of the standard will be 20 months, this does not include the end point assessment
Monthly training with weekly support where needed
Training Outcome:
Once qualified, the progression route would be a management role
