Apprentice Plumber

Assemble pipe sections, tubing and fittings, using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, plastic solvent, caulking or soldering, brazing and welding equipment Once pipes and plumbing fittings are installed, fill pipes or plumbing fixtures with water or air and observe pressure gauges to detect and locate leaks Study building plans and inspect structures to assess material and equipment needs, to establish the sequence of pipe installations, and to plan installation around obstructions such as electrical wiring Install sanitary and water piping systems and extend piping to connect fixtures and plumbing to relevant systems Ability to use equipment such as angle grinders and SDS drills

Training:
Plumbing and Domestic Heating Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard Training will take place at Waltham Forest College  Training will be 1 day a week 

Training Outcome:
Qualified Plumbing & Heating Engineer – Work independently or with a company on domestic or commercial projects Senior/Lead Plumber

Monday - Friday, 9.00am - 5.00pm.
