Teaching Assistant Apprentice

08:00 Start Time * 08:40 Pupils arrive - greet at the door or 1:1 soft starts 09:00-15.15 1:1 support, based in the SEND Hub, working on an alternative curriculum, based on the pupils' needs and EHCP targets 10:15 Break  12:00 Lunch (30 mins lunch, 30 mins supporting pupils) 15:15 End of school day for pupils Minimum of 6 hours per week spent on apprenticeship work and training (Additional duties will include supporting the class teachers in other classes)

Training:

You'll attend monthly 1-2-1 meetings (online via Teams every month - NO classroom OR college!) with your tutor and learn about modules including review & delivery, communication, pastoral, relationships & role modelling, learning & support, and more! You will be given a minimum of 3 hours per week to complete any apprenticeship work (assignments, research, and projects) and will receive at least another 3 hours of training from your employer.



Training Outcome:

As with any apprenticeship opportunity, if you prove yourself to be a valuable member of the team, there is a strong chance of a permanent post within the business.
