Level 3 Machining Technician Apprentice - Miller UK Ltd
Read and interpret engineering drawings
Set up and run machining jobs using information from technical drawings
Program CNC machines using Siemens 840D, Mazak and Fanuc controls
Operate manual machinery including:Manual lathes
Milling machines
Saws
Maintain safe working practices within the workshop environment
Work as part of an experienced engineering team to produce high-quality components
Training:
4 days per week at Miller UK
1 days per week at Newcastle College
Training Outcome:
Continued employment opportunities may be available for the right candidate upon successful completion of the apprenticeship
