Childcare Apprenticeship - Godalming

Welcome to Sunny Days at Brook, a family-run independent nursery, where we are dedicated to providing outstanding experiences for children. At our small nursery, we prioritise children's well-being and believe in the power of outdoor learning. Located in a charming rural setting, between Haslemere and Godalming we offer full day care from 7:30am to 6pm for rising three (2y 9m) - 5 years olds.

We believe in the potential of each child and provide tailored learning experiences that encourage their curiosity and ignite their love for learning. Our team of passionate and qualified educators are committed to creating a warm and supportive environment where children feel valued, encouraged, and inspired. We understand that a child's early years are crucial, and we prioritise their holistic development, nurturing their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical skills.

What you can expect:

Small groups, big impact – with an average 1:4 ratio, you’ll have the time and space to give each child your full attention. Fresh air, twice a day, every day – our woodland, field, playground, and cosy indoor space give children (and staff!) the perfect mix of outdoor exploration and home-from-home comfort. Your role will include:

Leading exciting, child-led activities indoors and outSupporting children’s learning, development, and curiosity Building warm relationships with children, families, and colleagues Reflecting on practice with the team to constantly improve and inspire each other Going home with muddy boots, a happy heart, and a smile

Training:

As a trusted training provider, we specialise in developing skilled, passionate educators who make a meaningful difference in the lives of children aged 0-5. Whether you're looking to enhance your current team's skills or recruit new talent, we’re with you every step of the way.

Upon completion of this 18 month apprenticeship, you will have obtained your Early Years Educator Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard.

Training Outcome:

There is a possibility of being offered a full time role after successful completion of the apprenticeship.

Nestled in the serene village of Brook, between Godalming and Haslemere, Sunny Days Nursery is a one-of-a-kind setting offering full day care and blending indoor and outdoor learning. With a forest school classroom right outside our door, we embrace the great outdoors in all weathers, providing acres of woodland for little explorers to discover.

Working Hours :
Monday - Friday, shifts to be confirmed. Ranging between 7:30am - 6:00pm.
