Groundworker Apprentice

Day to day role responsibilities will include: 

Assisting the Foreman, Groundworkers and Plant Operatives Maintaining a tidy and safe site Installation of drainage Assisting in concrete pours Laying kerbs, slabs, blocks

Training:
As part of this role, you will be required to study towards the Groundworker Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard at Colchester Institute College attendance for this course will be 1 day per week at the Colchester Campus

Training Outcome:
Upon successful completion of the Level 2 Groundworks Apprenticeship a Groundworker position will be available at Core Construction Solutions Ltd Additional training will be available whether that is towards the Groundworker or Plant Operative route

Core Construction are a family run groundworks and civil engineering company based in Margaretting, Essex. Working with residential and commercial clients around Essex and the surrounding counties.

The type of works we carry out are, roads and sewers, all works up to DPC, drainage, external works including driveways, patios, landscaping, car parks etc, temporary and enabling works, demolition and much more.

Working Hours :
Monday to Friday, 7.30am - 4.00pm with a 30 minute unpaid break at 10.00am and another 30 minute unpaid break at 1.00pm each day.
