Property Maintenance Apprentice
1. General maintenance on the fabric of the buildings both internal and external, including painting, decorating, flooring repairs, plastering repairs, carpentry (repairs to doors, lock and door furniture fitting, door hanging etc. This is to include standard/disability access and fire doors).
2. Maintaining sanitary ware, associated pipe work and fittings, including toilets, sinks, shower mixers, taps. All hot and cold-water supply systems, heating systems, include radiator leaks, boiler checks, and system pressure checks and chemical dosing maintenance.
3. To ensure the Health & Safety for oneself, other team members, residents and staff at all times.
4. To identify areas for preventative maintenance and improvement.
5. Ensure good relationships with internal staff and clients and external customers and contractors.
Training:
Your training will be provided by both your Employer and Grey Seal Academy. All training is delivered face to face at the workplace either on site or videoconferencing, this includes one training session and one coaching session per month. You will have access to an online portfolio and virtual learning environment to assist your training and assessment during your programme.
