Apprentice Vehicle Service and Maintenance Technician

Day to day role responsibilities will include: 

Carrying out vehicle servicing and check overs Carrying out general repairs including changing brake pads and discs, tyres, clutches and suspension items Diagnosing faults Ordering parts from suppliers Assisting with more complex repairs Assisting other team members where necessary Keeping the workshop clean and tidy Always being punctual

Training:
The Apprentice will be working towards the Level 3 Motor Vehicle Service and Maintenance Technician (Light Vehicle) College attendance will be at Colchester Institute - the Colchester Campus one day per week during term time

Training Outcome:
Upon completion you can work as a qualified vehicle technician in a garage or dealership and later progress into specialist roles like diagnostics or electric vehicles, senior technician jobs, or management positions

Employer Description:

We are a small independent garage.  We offer servicing and a wide range of repairs to various makes and models of vehicle.  We also sell light commercial vehicles.

Working Hours :
Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5.00pm with a 30 minute lunch break and a 15 minute tea break each day.
