Machining Apprentice

The apprentice will work towards their Apprenticeship Standard in L3 Machining Technician. The successful candidate will be assigned a dedicated assessor who will provide support and guidance throughout the course. This is a Day Release programme, which means you will attend Newark ASI college 1 day a week, term time only. This will fall within your contracted working hours.
Training Outcome:
Candidates will rotate through the workshop on a 6-month rotation, gaining the skills and knowledge required to set and operate a variety of CNC mills and lathes.
Employer Description:
We design and manufacture clamp connectors, subsea pipe connectors, seal rings, and boiler inspection caps. We also provide on-site machining services, including milling, bolt tensioning, line boring and inspection services. We work across the water, power generation, offshore, and energy sectors.
Working Hours :
8:00am - 4:00pm, Monday to Thursday, and 8:00am - 3:30pm on Fridays.
