Apprentice Engineer

Provide assistance to officers, engineers and designers Assist in the preparation and production of detailed technical engineering drawings using computer aided design (AutoCAD) from a combination of survey data, hand produced drafts and GIS digitised mapping database, under supervision Maintain, update and access manual and computerised databases to produce information/reports as requested General clerical duties, filing and maintaining records Assist in the preparation of statutory notices in accordance with the New Roads and Street Works Act Assist in dealing with third party claims against the council Ensure compliance with relevant Health and Safety legislation in all aspects of work undertaken so that your own safety, and the safety of working colleagues and occasional visitors, is safeguarded so far as is reasonably practical

Training:
Civil Engineering Technician Level 3 How the training will be delivered is to be confirmed

Training Outcome:

Progression into a Civil Engineering role.
