Apprentice Fleet Maintenance Technician

Assist with and carry out under supervision scheduled services and necessary repairs on the Council's fleet of vehicles and equipment Assist with the investigation persistent technical problems noted in repair work and assist in their solutions In co-operation with management, maintain the health and safety standards within the workshop and comply with statutory requirements Maintain workshop cleanliness and dispose of materials in accordance with the Council's environmental policies Complete electronic forms, inspection reports and associated documentation in an accurate and timely manner complying with any statutory requirements. Be aware of the operating requirements of the M.O.T. station and assist in the operation of the booking system

Training:

Training will be with North Lindsey College.

1 day per week.



Training Outcome:

Qualfied to City and Guilds Level 3 Heavy Vehicle Technician.
