Vehicle Fitter Apprentice

To assist in conducting routine inspections, and pre-MOT inspections as necessary. To assist in undertaking roadworthiness inspections of vehicles in operational use. To assist in diagnosing vehicle defects and inform the work content. To attend vehicle breakdowns, to diagnose faults and to repair as necessary. To identify parts required, to research competitive prices and to order parts required.

Training:

Full time contract, working 4 days a week + 1 day per week at Exeter College.

Training Outcome:

Potential to study Level 3 Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
