Hair salon apprentice

Your duties include but are not limited to:

Preparation for start of day Prepare refreshments for clients Meet any targets set All hairdressing and related duties Maintaining daily cleanliness and tidiness of salon Contributing to the development of the team Training and development directly related to your role Shampooing and conditioning treatments You will be taught to blow-dry and will be blow-drying clients in the salon during the early stages of the apprenticeship. We believe the earlier you start working with clients the more confident you will become in the salon End of day duties

Training Outcome:
Once qualified if there are any positions available these will be discussed, after the End Point Assessment The opportunities we offer if available can progress from level 3 to individual advanced courses leading to a shop floor position

Phoenix Hair in Huntingdon was opened by Lorna and Tanya, after having worked with each other on and off for over 20 years.

We have worked with some of our stylist for over 20 years. A good working history which we believe allows us to be reliable and dedicated to making every person's visit enjoyable.

Since opening, the salon has gone from strength to strength. We have a good team spirit here and all work really well together. Ever trying to be the best at whatever we set out to do. For 3 years running we were Regional Finalists of the L'Oreal Colour Trophy, Runners-up in Goldwell National Trend Zoom Young Colourist Stylist competition and went on to win the New Business Award in the Hunts Post Business Awards 2010 for Huntingdonshire and runners up in the Business Development Award 2011. This is all possible due to the motivation and enthusiasm of all the staff that work here.

Working Hours :
5 day week , includes Saturday and 1 x late night . hours and days to be confirmed.
