Dental Nurse Level 3 Apprentice
Assist dentists during a wide range of clinical treatments
Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment
Decontaminate instruments following infection control procedures
Support patient care before, during and after treatment
Maintain accurate patient records and clinical notes
Prepare treatment rooms and ensure cleanliness standards
Provide reassurance and advice to patients
Manage appointments and reception duties when required
Follow health & safety and safeguarding procedures
Work towards completion of the Level 3 Dental Nurse qualification
Training Outcome:
After completing the apprenticeship and registering with the General Dental Council (GDC), candidates can progress into a variety of dental careers, including:
Qualified Dental Nurse Senior or Lead Dental Nurse Dental Practice Manager or Treatment Coordinator Specialist Dental Nurse (orthodontics, sedation, implants or radiography) Oral Health Educator Dental Hygienist or Dental Therapist (with further study) Dental Nurse Assessor, Tutor or Trainer The apprenticeship provides a strong foundation for long-term progression within the dental professionEmployer Description:

Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 8.30am - 4.30pm
