Procurement Administration Apprentice

Joining the existing procurement team at Olympus Global as procurement administrator, this varied role will include roles and duties as follows;

Prompt answering and addressing of telephone enquiries Monitoring and logging raw material costs, exchange rates, shipping costs Maintaining procurement records and databases Raising of purchase orders for all products under your control Supporting supplier contract administration and supplier onboarding Monitoring of inventory levels to appropriately flag supply issues Working as part of the wider team to ensure goods & service meet requirements Associated filing and administrative tasks All other tasks deemed appropriate within your skill level

Effective colleague relationships are key to this role, you will;

Liaise with all levels within the Company affording the same level of service and courtesy to all colleagues Ensure effective working relationships and co-ordination to provide necessary information for reporting purposes Establish effective working relationships with our customers and suppliers

It is key the successful applicant is eager to learn the basics of procurement including the relevant regulations appropriate to the sector.



Training:
All training will take place in the workplace, there is no day release at College required for your apprenticeship You will be assigned an assessor who will visit you in the workplace every 8 weeks to support with you apprenticeship

Training Outcome:

Further development within the Procurement team upon succesful compleiton of your apprenticeship.

Working Hours :
Monday to Thursday, 07:30 - 16:30. Friday, 07:30 - 12:00.
