Sustainability Apprentice
Assist in gathering and organising sustainability-related information from various areas of the business, including environmental initiatives, supply chain activities, and operational improvements
Support the preparation of sustainability content, customer-specific research, and company-wide sustainability communications
Contribute to the creation of content such as internal presentations, reports, and digital materials to support APS employees in understanding sustainability goals and initiatives
Develop clear, engaging sustainability content for external clients, helping to communicate APS’s commitment to environmental and social responsibility
Collaborate with different departments to ensure sustainability information is presented accurately and effectively
Support the continuous improvement of sustainability processes, ensuring clarity, consistency, and accessibility in reporting and communications
Assist in identifying and analysing sustainability trends, initiatives, and best practices relevant to APS and its stakeholders
Help track the progress of sustainability initiatives, ensuring engagement and traction across the business
Support the communication of sustainability successes internally and externally, including collecting and compiling relevant case studies and impact stories
Provide general administrative support to the sustainability department, helping to coordinate projects and maintain accurate records
Training:
A 100% tailored training and assessment program will be delivered to support you throughout your apprenticeship, (24 - 36 months including endpoint assessment) topics covered include:
The 6 core pathways of CRS Core knowledge and background Environmental Human Rights and Social Value Leadership Quality Assurance Events ManagementIncludes membership to the ICRS.
You may need to complete level 2 Maths and English Functional skills (if you cannot evidence prior grades).
Training Outcome:
Full time role.
As a growth area within APS, progression opportunities will arise into general or specific sustainability roles within APS e.g. carbon reporting, social value, compliance.

Working Hours :
40hours, 08.30 - 17.00, Monday - Friday. 3 days in office (Tuesday - Thursday), 2 days remote.
