Plumbing and Heating Apprentice
Daily duties:
Attend all college day release days and complete the work involved in your apprenticeship Supporting your nominated Line Manager/Mentor in the installation, repair and maintenance of plumbing & heating systems Assisting with Installations: Help install plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances Preparing Work Sites: Prepare and clean work sites before and after jobs Handling Tools and Equipment: Transport and handle plumbing tools and equipment under supervision Learning Safety Procedures: Follow health and safety standards to ensure a safe work environment. Basic Tasks: Perform basic tasks such as cutting and assembling pipes, drilling walls for pipes, and handling minor repairs Inspecting Systems: Help inspect plumbing systems to identify issues and ensure they are functioning correctly Reading Plans & Designs: Learn to read and interpret plans and drawings to understand the layout of plumbing systemsTraining:
You will be pursuing a Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard in Plumbing and Heating, through Weston College As part of this program, you will attend Weston College once a week for workshops An assessor will conduct on-site observations to evaluate your progress, as well as support you in college throughout your apprenticeship At the conclusion of your program, your qualification will be assessed through an End Point Assessment

Working Hours :
Monday to Friday: 8:30am-5pm. Breaks and lunchtime: 1 hour.
