Nursery Apprenticeship

You will work at your nursery setting as a nursery assistant, gaining your practical experience. This will involve a range of activities from arts and crafts to singing and outdoor play. You will then attend online study sessions to gain your apprenticeship qualification.

Activities include:

Maintain accurate and effective children’s records Respond appropriately to issues requiring confidentiality Support, promote, and implement policies relating to diversity and equality Work well as part of a team Work with the team to ensure the smooth running of the nursery day Work in partnership with parents

Training:

Early Years Practitioner Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard:

Training will be held at the nursery and online You will also need to attend functional skills classes if you do not already hold the required grade

Training Outcome:
You can progress on to Level 3 Early Years Educator

Muddy Ducks Nursery is a private day nursery, offering full and part time places for children from 2-5yrs. Situated in Dinton Pastures Country Park. We are passionate about the outdoors with the ethos of the nursery based firmly on nature and the environment around us.

Working Hours :
Monday - Friday, between 8.00am - 6.00pm.
