Mechatronics Maintenance Technician Apprentice

Year 1:

In the first year you will spend the majority of your time completing a core skills and knowledge training programme at NC Group's Training Academy, covering essential mechanical, electrical, and engineering fundamentals

Years 2 - 4:

You will be based at Senstronics, gaining hands-on experience while developing your skills to carry out a broad range of activities which may include installation, testing, fault finding, rectification, modifications and the on-going planned maintenance of complex automated equipment This requires the application of a blend of skills, knowledge and occupational behaviours across the electrical, electronic, mechanical, fluid power and control systems disciplines

Training:
In your first year, you’ll spend most of your time at the NC Group training centre, developing core mechanical, electrical, and engineering skills In year two, you’ll move onsite to Senstronics, applying your knowledge in a real manufacturing environment

Training Outcome:
On completion of the Mechatronics Maintenance Technician Apprenticeship, you could progress into a full-time maintenance engineering role, such as a Maintenance Technician or Engineer With experience, there are opportunities to develop into senior or specialist engineering positions within manufacturing and automation
