Apprentice Plumbing & Heating Engineer

Based in Corsham, Wiltshire, we are looking for a full-time apprentice who will work on a variety of projects across a range of commercial buildings, you'll gain skills and qualifications to install, service, and maintain a wide range of plumbing and heating equipment, fittings and systems across a varied commercial estate whilst mastering tools and techniques across the industry, 

As an Apprentice at Mitie, you'll be at the heart of what we do, making a real impact from day one. Here's a glimpse of what your journey could include: 

Learning essential skills and knowledge including heating, plumbing, systems, and maintenance. Assisting with planned routine maintenance as well as reactive repair tasks. Collaborating with experienced professionals to gain hands-on experience. Ensuring compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality (HSEQ) standards, making safety and sustainability a priority in every task. 

Training:

As part of your Apprenticeship, you will be enrolled onto a Level 3 Heating and Plumbing qualification, which typically runs for 48 months.

You will be fully supported by our partnered college with 1-2-1 advice, e-learning materials, and a team of experts available for technical knowledge at your office.

Our dedicated Apprenticeship Team will support you every step of the way, helping you make the most of your opportunities and achieve both your current goals and those you have yet to discover. The benefits include paid on-the-job training, a structured 48-month programme combining practical experience with formal training, and a nationally recognised Level 3 qualification.

You will receive mentorship from skilled tradespeople in a professional commercial environment and have opportunities to work on a variety of projects, enhancing your skills and portfolio.

Upon successful completion, you'll have a clear career pathway into a full-time qualified role
