RDUK Engineering Apprentice
The Apprentice's responsibilities include learning and developing practical and theoretical engineering skills, participating in meetings and workshops (on and offsite), observing all health and safety codes, completing individual tasks and assignments, as well as delivering presentations to staff and other stakeholders. You should be well organised, flexible, and willing to assist wherever possible.
As an Engineering Apprentice, you will:
Attend college, studying for a Higher Level Apprenticeship Level 4 (Engineering). Rotate around the engineering department developing skills and understanding. Work with and learn from the employees in the Engineering department and the Programme teams;Support Programme teams in the delivery of engineering tasks and activities. Develop technical skills in the design and development of military systems ranging from mechanical, electrical and systems design. Develop and understanding of military products and their constituent parts. Develop an understanding of product life cycles from concept through to manufacture. Develop an understanding of different business processes and tools including specific engineering toolsets. Apply academic skills to the working environment. Develop interpersonal skills. Undertake other duties and tasks as directed by line managers.Training Outcome:

Working Hours :
40 hours, Monday to Friday, inclusive of mandatory study time. Shifts to be confirmed.
