Accounts Administrator Apprentice
The duties and responsibilities involved in this role will involve:
Embark on a rewarding journey combining practical on-the-job experience with theoretical knowledge to develop skills in accounting principles, procedures, and practices. Work under the guidance of experienced professionals to gain hands-on experience in financial transactions, budgeting, and financial reporting.
Some of the duties include the following:
Develop a strong understanding of accounting software and systems used by the group Pursue ongoing learning and professional development to stay up to date with industry trends and best practices Checking supplier invoices against purchase orders on our database and then processing them ready for Reconciling supplier statements against purchase ledger records Updating sales ledger and sending invoices and credit notes to customers Verifying the accuracy of accounts records (from both sales and purchase perspectives) and identifying errors Assisting the accounts manager with administrative duties to enable smooth preparation of VAT returns and yearly accounts Liaising with customers and suppliers and dealing with invoicing disputesRequirements:

Accounts or Finance Assistant Level 2.
Training will be at Doncaster College where you will access a wide range of facilities on offer.
Day release
You will undertake the Accounts or Finance Assistant Level 2 standard.
Apprenticeship search / Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education
You will undertake Functional Skills for English and/or Maths if needed.
You will undertake both on and off the job training by a team of industry-qualified professionals to give you the best skills, knowledge, and experience.
Training Outcome:
Successful completion of the apprenticeship could lead to a higher-level apprenticeship or full-time employment for the right candidate.
