Engineering Manager

Job Title – Engineering Manager
Industry – Automotive & Transport
Salary - £45,000 - £48,000 per annum
Location – Kidderminster
 
I am currently working with a nationwide Bus operator in the area Kidderminster area who are now looking to expand their team with the addition of a qualified an Engineering Manager.
 
Requirements for Engineering Manager:

- Previous experience as an Engineering Manager is essential
- Ideally have a formal qualification to NVQ level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent
- Car driving licence is essential, PSV licence is desirable
- Excellent communication skills
- Effective team management skills

Engineering Manager Duties:

- To control all Engineering cost lines through robust planning and auditing.
- Drive engagement with Engineering team.
- Ensure all vehicles are regularly serviced and meet PMI KPIs, that the vehicles are thoroughly maintained and well presented in strict accordance with Company procedures, DVSA requirements.
- To ensure all engineering support software/programmes and diagnostic equipment is used effectively within the engineering departments.
- Performance management and training plans for engineering staff
