Activity Co-ordinator

Service care Solution are currently recruiting for a Activity Co-ordinator in Bedford with Bedford Borough Council.

The role is based in Adult Services, working in a residential care home.

This is an exciting opportunity and the role will include –


To plan and organise activities within a care home
To engage residents in activities, both one to one and group
To access activities for residents outside of the care home
To access and arrange for community based groups to visit the home
To arrange spiritual and faith support for residents
To participate in the care planning process for identifying social needs for individuals and recording activities on individuals Daily Journal’s
To assist in arranging fund raising events for the Residents amenities fund
To contribute to the Homes newsletter
To complete weekly activities planner for distribution within the home
