Undertaking day to day jobs for maintaining a salon Gaining valuable on the job learning from colleagues and peers Greeting clients, taking bookings and managing appointments Run a column of regulars

Training:
You will undertake training at least one day a week in your salon with a qualified hairdressing tutor and assessor Functional Skills in maths and English, if required

Training Outcome:
There are many employment opportunities and career progression routes for a qualified hairdresser You may wish to continue working in your chosen salon, widening your experience You could use your qualification to open your own salon You could even take this qualification abroad with you, working in a salon abroad or on cruise ships There are many options and career progression will be widely discussed with you during your apprenticeship
